Thomas Weisner is one of the Foundation’s senior program associates and a professor of anthropology in the Departments of Psychiatry (NPI Center for Culture and Health) and Anthropology at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research interests are in culture and human development, families and children at risk, and the use of mixed-methods in research on culture and context in children’s lives. Dr. Weisner received his Ph.D. in anthropology and social relations from Harvard University.
