The William T. Grant Foundation is proud to announce that Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration Lawrence D. Moreland has been asked to serve on the Council on Foundation’s Finance and Investment Committee. A nonprofit association with more than 2,000 grantmaking members, the Council is a vital force in American philanthropy. The Finance and Investment Committee reports directly to the Board and has broad and specific responsibilities related to financial policy and planning, financial transparency, investment management, and budgeting. Mr. Moreland will bring to the Finance and Investment Committee eight years of experience at the Foundation and four years of experience as the CFO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. He also worked with the Council on Foundations as part of its Annual Conference Planning Committees in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2009.

In addition to his work with the Council, Mr. Moreland serves as a member of the Board and treasurer of Philanthropy New York and is on the Audit Committee of the Bideawee Association, an animal rescue and shelter organization in the greater New York area.
