The William T. Grant Foundation Announces Important Findings on After-School Programs
The William T. Grant Foundation announces a new report from the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL). In the report, researchers Joseph Durlak of Loyola University Chicago and Roger Weissberg of the University of Illinois at Chicago show that youth who participate in after-school programs that use evidence-based approaches to enhance personal and social skills show significant improvement when compared to their peers.
